Authors are expected to be established members of their own fields. The papers will be by invitation, but potential authors can make it known to the editors that they would welcome an invitation. Such suggestions should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief or to one of the Honorary Editors-in-Chief.
After invitation, papers should be prepared according to the guidelines for ordinary submissions, but the length (excluding bibliography) should be no more than 1000 words. Only very small numbers of tables and illustrations should be included. They should be aimed at the general readership of the journal, and should not be densely technical.
